Frequently asked questions
Is 6 to 9 kW right for my room?
It suits most home sauna rooms. Size by volume rather than floor area, and move up a band if the ceiling is high, a wall is glass or the room is outdoors in a cold climate.
What electrical supply does it need?
Traditional heaters above about 4.5 kW generally need a dedicated 240V circuit sized by a licensed electrician. Infrared cabins are the exception and often run on a standard 120V outlet. The requirement is listed on every product page: confirm it before delivery, not after.
Built-in controls or a separate unit?
Both exist in this band. The product page lists the controls for each heater, and the ones needing an external unit list what fits.
How do I pay?
Card or bank transfer (ACH), both at checkout. Stripe handles the payment, so your card details never reach us. A transfer takes a day or two longer to clear, and on a large order it is the one we prefer.
Can you install it?
In the Bay Area, yes. Your Saunas is a licensed general contractor, CSLB #1150020, so the carpentry and the electrical are the same crew rather than two trades blaming each other.
