Frequently asked questions
How much space does a five-person sauna need?
Usually 6 to 8 feet on a side. Filter by the space you have with the will-it-fit tool above.
What size heater does it take?
Generally 8 to 12 kW. A full room and a cold start are what the extra capacity is for; each sauna page lists heaters that suit it.
Does it take longer to heat?
Only if the heater is undersized for the volume. Matched correctly, a larger room comes up in a comparable time: that is what the higher kW rating buys.
How do I pay?
Card or bank transfer (ACH), both at checkout. Stripe handles the payment, so your card details never reach us. A transfer takes a day or two longer to clear, and on a large order it is the one we prefer.
Can you install it?
In the Bay Area, yes. Your Saunas is a licensed general contractor, CSLB #1150020, so the carpentry and the electrical are the same crew rather than two trades blaming each other. Further afield we ship and you bring your own installer. Call (707) 625-5555 before you order if you want the install quoted with the sauna.
