Frequently asked questions
Will a sub-6 kW heater be enough for my room?
Only if the room's volume is within the heater's rating. Allow roughly 1 kW per 45 to 50 cubic feet and add capacity for glass, ceiling height and any uninsulated surface.
Can a heater this size run on 120V?
A few of the smallest can; most still need 240V. The requirement is on the product page, and it is not something to assume.
Do they come with stones?
Sauna stones are almost always sold separately, and the volume needed is on the heater's page. Use only stones sold for sauna use: ordinary rock can crack or explode when water hits it.
How do I pay?
Card or bank transfer (ACH), both at checkout. Stripe handles the payment, so your card details never reach us. A transfer takes a day or two longer to clear, and on a large order it is the one we prefer.
Can you install it?
In the Bay Area, yes. Your Saunas is a licensed general contractor, CSLB #1150020, so the carpentry and the electrical are the same crew rather than two trades blaming each other. Further afield we ship and you bring your own installer. Call (707) 625-5555 before you order if you want the install quoted with the sauna.
