Sauna Equipment Installation
in the Bay Area
Heaters, digital controls and accessories for Peninsula and Bay Area saunas — sized to your room, installed and wired by one licensed team. We help you choose the right gear; we don't sell you a box and walk away.
The right equipment, sized & wired correctly
A sauna is only as good as its heater, its controls and the way they're wired — and most of that gets decided before anyone picks up a tool.
YOURSAUNAS is a licensed design-build company, and equipment is a real part of what we do: we help you choose the right heater, controls and accessories for your room, then install them and wire the 240V ourselves. We serve homes across the Peninsula and Silicon Valley — Atherton, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Hillsborough, Saratoga, Marin — and throughout the wider Bay Area.
We don't sell equipment off a shelf. What we do is the harder part: sit down with you, size the heater to your actual room, and recommend the right class of gear for how you'll use it — then install it and run the wiring in-house under our own C-10. Whether you're outfitting a new build or replacing a tired heater in a sauna you already own, you get a unit that fits and a 240V hookup done right — no "coordinate with your own electrician."
Consultation-first · then installed & wired
We get it sized right before we install it.
Consult & sizing
We measure your room's cubic volume and finishes, then spec the right heater kW (or steam generator size). Stone, tile and glass hold heat differently than wood and need more power — we account for it, so the unit is never under- or over-sized.
Help you choose the right gear
Electric or wood-burning, basic dial or smart control, infrared panel for a tight space — we recommend the right type and quality for how you'll actually use it. Already bought a unit? We'll install what you have.
Install to spec
Heater mounted with correct stone loading and guard clearances; steam generator placed for proper delivery and serviceability; lighting and accessories fitted clean.
240V wiring — in-house
Dedicated circuit, GFCI where required, proper breaker, sealed high-temp connections, heater and control hookup — all done under our own electrical license. No outside electrician, no scheduling gaps, one permit.
Controls setup
Digital or smart control mounted and configured: temperature, pre-heat timers so it's hot when you walk in, safety cut-offs, lighting and aroma options paired and tested.
Ventilation check
We confirm intake and exhaust are right for the heater, so heat is even and the room breathes — a quiet cause of weak löyly and stuffy rooms.
Test & commission
We fire it up, bring it to temperature, and verify the controls, the cut-offs and the even heat — not just "powered on."
Walkthrough
We show you the controls, the stone care and safe operation, and leave you a clean space with clear instructions.
Worth asking about: low-EMF infrared panels for condos and ADUs where space and ventilation are tight, smart/app controls with pre-heat timers, LED mood lighting, built-in sound, and aromatherapy-ready steam.
Choosing a heater
Which sauna heater brand is right for you?
We install and service every major sauna heater — any brand you buy. These are the makers we're asked about most, and how we'd frame the choice. There's no universal best: the right heater is the one sized to your room and matched to how you'll actually use it.
| Brand | Known for | A strong fit when |
|---|---|---|
| Harvia Finland | The broad, proven workhorse — Finland's largest heater maker, with the widest range of electric and wood-burning models, from compact home units to commercial. | You want a dependable, well-supported heater with options and parts for almost any room. |
| HUUM Estonia | Design-forward heaters with clean, minimal lines and app-based controls — built to be seen, not hidden in a corner. | The heater is on show and you want it to look as good as it heats. |
| IKI Finland | A deep bed of stones for a soft, humid, long-lasting löyly — heaters designed around large stone volume. | You love a gentle, enveloping heat and steam that holds between ladles. |
| Narvi Finland | Rugged Finnish build with a strong wood-burning lineup alongside its electric models. | You're heating an outdoor cabin and want the crackle and aroma of a real wood fire. |
We don't sell any of these — our job is to help you choose the right unit for your space, then install it and wire the 240V under our own C-10. Already bought a heater? We'll install what you have.
The moat
Installed and wired by the team that helped you choose it.
Most sauna sellers ship you a box and tell you to "coordinate with your licensed electrician" for the 240V hookup. So when something's wrong, the equipment company blames the wiring and the electrician blames the equipment — and you're stuck in the middle.
We don't work that way. YOURSAUNAS holds the General Contractor, Electrical (C-10) and HVAC (C-20) licenses in-house, so the same team that helps you choose and install your heater also runs the 240V circuit, wires the controls and commissions the whole thing. One accountable team, one permit, one number to call. If it ever needs attention, the people who wired it pick up the phone.
What it costs
Equipment installation starts from $590 for the labor — the equipment itself is billed separately. A straight heater or control replacement is often a same-week job.

Equipment FAQ
Good questions, straight answers.
Yes — YOURSAUNAS installs and wires sauna heaters, controls and accessories of any brand across the Bay Area and Peninsula, including a straight heater or controller replacement. One licensed team sizes the equipment to your room, installs it, and runs the 240V hookup under our own C-10 license — so you get gear that fits and wiring done right, no outside electrician.
