Most sauna companies are a logo and a contact form. Behind YOURSAUNAS is a team that designs, builds, wires and vents saunas every day — led by a founder who's spent his whole adult life in the trade. Here's his story.
Hi, I'm Vadim — founder of YOURSAUNAS. I'm a degreed specialist with a background in both construction engineering and economics, and I've spent my whole adult life in this trade. I started at eighteen, and I've been building ever since — more than a decade of hands-on work, from reading complex blueprints to large-scale construction.
I learned the way I believe you truly learn anything: by doing. I built my own first home, then a second one from the ground up — every system, from the foundation and utilities all the way to the final equipment. Later I built out my own commercial space. There's no part of a build I haven't done with my own hands.
But saunas were always something more for me — they're closer to the heart. I grew up in a family where the sauna was part of our tradition, and the older I got, the deeper I went into it. To me a sauna isn't just a hot room. It's a place where people talk honestly, where everyone is equal, where you actually connect. I believe it's good for the body and even better for the mind — and that's what I want to build for you.

The real difference

Anyone can call themselves a "sauna specialist." What matters is whether the same team can design the structure, run the wiring and engineer the heat — and has actually done it, project after project. We hold all three licenses ourselves, so your whole build lives under one set of permits, with one team accountable for every stage. Here's what each license covers day to day.
What it is
The license to design and build the whole project, pull permits, and run the job start to finish.
What it means for your build
We're responsible for the entire build — foundation, framing, finish — not just one slice of it. One contract, one point of accountability.
What it is
The license to do electrical work — the 240V circuit, GFCI, heater and control wiring.
What it means for your build
The wiring is done under our own C-10 license — never an outside electrician you have to schedule and chase.
What it is
The license for heating, ventilation and air handling.
What it means for your build
Ventilation and heat-load are engineered by the same team that built the room — so the sauna heats evenly, breathes right, and lasts.
Keeping every stage with one team is less about the paperwork than what it makes possible: fewer permits, no trade handoffs, no finger-pointing, cleaner inspections. When something needs a decision on site, the person who can make it is already standing there.

Most of our work is on the Peninsula and through Silicon Valley — Atherton, Hillsborough, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Saratoga — the kind of homes where a sauna is part of how the house lives, not an afterthought.
