Sauna Accessories

The parts that decide whether a sauna is pleasant to use: controls, stones, ladles and buckets, backrests, thermometers, lighting and ventilation. Most of them are inexpensive and all of them are the sort of thing people wish they had bought at the same time as the sauna.

Frequently asked questions

Which accessories are actually necessary?

Stones for a traditional heater, a bucket and ladle, a thermometer or hygrometer, and a control unit if the heater does not have one built in. Everything else is comfort.

Do I need a separate control unit?

Only if the heater does not have controls built in. Each heater's page says which it is, and the ones that need an external control list the units that work with them.

What kind of stones should I use?

Sauna stones are almost always sold separately, and the volume needed is on the heater's page. Use only stones sold for sauna use: ordinary rock can crack or explode when water hits it.

How do I pay?

Card or bank transfer (ACH), both at checkout. Stripe handles the payment, so your card details never reach us. A transfer takes a day or two longer to clear, and on a large order it is the one we prefer.

Can you install it?

In the Bay Area, yes. Your Saunas is a licensed general contractor, CSLB #1150020, so the carpentry and the electrical are the same crew rather than two trades blaming each other. Further afield we ship and you bring your own installer. Call (707) 625-5555 before you order if you want the install quoted with the sauna.
